A factsheet by Preparing for Adulthood on personal budgets for post-16 provision and FE colleges

With the introduction of The Children and Families Act 2014 a number of duties in relation to Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plans, have been introduced. When it comes to personal budget's if you are a young person you can request a personal budget which can include elements of education, health or care provision.

This Factsheet brings together the work of Preparing for Adulthood, In Control AOC and Natspec. It gives examples and scenarios of how personal budgets can be implemented in Further Education colleges and post-16 provision. An updated factsheet was published in March 2015 to share further learning from local areas.
