Breathe Education | Yoga and Mindfulness
Breathe Education promotes positive mental health and wellbeing in Blackburn and surrounding areas. We offer a variety of courses in yoga and mindfulness to help support your mental and physical wellbeing. Classes can be delivered in person or via live stream over the web.
Individual/small group sessions for students with SEN or additional needs.
Yoga and mindfulness practices can help children and young people with ADHD by:
Releasing energy and improving concentration.
For children and young people with autism spectrum condition, yoga and mindfulness can:
Help them feel more connected to their body
Calm the nervous system
Improve social and communication skills.
If preferred, activities can be practised seated in chairs instead of on floor mats.
