BwD Childcare and Early Learning Service

The Families Information Service can provide accurate and good quality information, advice and guidance on a range of childcare services, early learning and other children's services available in the Blackburn with Darwen area.

The service can help you find an Ofsted registered childcare provider in Blackburn with Darwen by supplying an information pack with a list of childcare providers either near to where you live or work and to meet your childcare needs. They can provide information and advice on the following Early Years Services:

  • Free early education for three and four year old children.
  • Out of school clubs-before and after school.
  • Children's centre groups and activities.
