Witton Park Cycle Centre, Wood Pavilion
Cycling is a great way to see the local countryside, exercise and travel around the borough in a carbon-neutral way.
The Witton Park Cycle Centre offers a range of sessions and specialised equipment to encourage all BwD residents to get out and about in the Country Park.
Everybody is welcome, including those with physical disabilities and any carers who are supporting individuals.
The centre runs a variety of sessions and course. Please click on the link in the downloads box for full informaition.
Activities and support includes:
Cycle and equipment hire including off-road mobility tramper scooters that are designed to give anyone with low or limited mobility access to the countryside. The scooters are easy to use and there are different trails to follow, whatever your level of mobility. The trails are signposted and easy to follow. - There is a charge for the various sessions and courses; however, if you can provide proof of living, working or having a GP in Blackburn with Darwen you are eligible for a significant discount! With this proof, charges can be as little as £1 per session.
