Our Witton Park campus provides the ideal venue for students wishing to undertake a range of courses in Horticulture, Animal Studies and Foundation Learning, supported by computer and library facilities that are linked to the main College campus at Preston.
There are extensive practical facilities on site for horticulture, animal care and management, with a wide range of companion animals including small farm animals, chickens, rabbits and small rodents as well as collections of reptiles, amphibians, fish and invertebrates.
We have access to a large glasshouse on site and for larger projects are able to use the facilities at Preston campus. For animal care, students have access to specialist equipment for animal husbandry and a dedicated dog grooming salon.
Students also have opportunities to visit local horticultural sites and animal-based industries such as dog trainers and farms. They will be offered a range of interesting guest speakers throughout the College year.
