(Parents in Partnership - BwD PIP) The Parent/Carer Forum for Blackburn with Darwen
Description

PLEASE NOTE WE ARE RUNNING A COMBINATION OF IN PERSON AND VIRTUAL EVENTS, ACCORDING TO COVID 19 ADVICE
We are the parent carer forum within Blackburn with Darwen, for parents/carers of children/young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities from 0-25 years. We work in co-production with Children and Young Peoples' Services, Health, the Local Authority and voluntary groups to and represent parents in these meetings, to influence and shape services for parents, carers and children/young people in the borough.
The parent carer forum is the recognised body for feeding back the views of parents/carers in the borough.
We are members of the National Network of Parent Carer Forums, and are backed by the charity "Contact - for disabled families".

If you have time to spare you could also become a volunteer and possibly progress to be a member of the steering group! Every little helps - don't be shy come and give us a try!
We are running "Bring Your Own Brew" coffee mornings, PIP Drop In's, SEND FRiends coffee morning and Care Network Hub coffee mornings - see leaflets in Documents.
