The Council for disabled children has published a briefing on the role of Independent Reviewing Officers in Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments and Plans for looked after children and young people with special educational needs. It focuses, in particular, on education, health and care (EHC) needs assessments and plans made under the Children and Families Act 2014.
