Blackburn Youth Zone offers a wide range of activities and opportunities for young people of all abilities. Where there may be barriers or additional support required for members to access these activities they would like to work with families and carers so young people can have the best time whilst with them!

The Diversity sessions

Diversity offers our members a smaller, accessible session that helps young people
breakdown barriers which may have previously stopped them from engaging in
activities and remove them where we can. All activities are fun, engaging and accessible catering for every ability where possible.

To access our sessions, we require a completed All About Me, Membership and Medical form.

Once reviewed you will be invited to a booked induction session which allows you to
ask any questions you may have and allows us a chance to get to know the young person and their needs.

Unfortunately at this time, BYZ cannot offer 1:1 support within session. However, once
a member, a young people can be supported by PA (non-family member) at BYZ.
To support a young person on our premises, the PA will require a current DBS.

YOUTH (13-21) 3:00-5:00
