Siblings Group
This group is for children and young people aged 5 years and upwards who have a brother or sister with a disability. (young people are invited to attend whilst their disabled sibling is under the age of 18 years)
The group provides a supportive and fun environment for children who have a disabled sibling. Children and young people who attend benefit from peer-group support, developing relationships with other young people with similar experiences or who may be young carers.
Activities range from frienship groups, arts, crafts, community trips and activities, sports and games plus baking and much more.
The group runs every Wednesday in school holidays and is fully staffed by Children's Social Care staff.
These sessions are free of charge.
