What can you do?

Blackburn with Darwen Council is always looking at new ways to work with families.  If you have any ideas on how we can do this please email them to local.offer@blackburn.gov.uk.  Alternatively if you would like to receive information on future co-production opportunities you can email your name and contact details to local.offer@blackburn.gov.uk as well.

SEND Participation List - register your interest in local SEND developments and opportunites.

Below is a list of groups you can join that can help us to get things right in Blackburn with Darwen.

  • Blackburn with Darwen’s Parents In Partnership:  Parent carer led group for Parent Carers of children and young adults aged 0-25 with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND).  A varied annual programme of workshops, activities and events.  Contact bwdpip1@gmail.com

  • Friends of the Local Offer Group:  a small and friendly group of parent/carer volunteers who are dedicated to improving the local offer for Blackburn with Darwen families.  Meeting once a month, alternating Mondays and Fridays from 10:00 to 12 noon.  Contact local.offer@blackburn.gov.uk
