WCMX night is coming to Junction 4 Skatepark.

WCMX is short for Wheelchair Motocross it’s a fairly new but growing wheelchair sport in the UK however it’s likely to join the Paralympic Games in 2028 so to help the sport grow the International WCMX Series(charity status pending) are organising sessions at skateparks all over the country.

On Saturday 10th September the first session for Lancashire will held be at Junction 4 skatepark in Darwen and the 2nd Saturday of each month thereafter from 7pm - 10pm.

They also have the number 1 male in the UK coming along so it’s a perfect opportunity for people to come and watch or have a go, all abilities welcome.

To book your place just follow the link to the Junction 4 website, register and book your place(s), helmets and pads are available to borrow however you will need a hardframe manual wheelchair to join in folding wheelchairs are just not strong enough!
